Meet the Founder
Heather Esparza, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA
Heather Esparza is the founder of BCBA Connect Consulting, where she partners with behavior analysts, healthcare organizations, schools, and families to strengthen clinical services, develop effective leaders, and improve organizational performance through evidence-based behavioral consultation.
Heather brings a unique blend of educational and clinical leadership experience spanning both public education and applied behavior analysis. She began her career as an educator, spending six years teaching in general and special education classrooms — working extensively with students diagnosed with autism and those with emotional and behavioral challenges, including individuals who had experienced trauma.
Building on that foundation, Heather transitioned into behavior analysis, where she has held progressive leadership roles including Clinical Director — leading multidisciplinary teams and supervising and mentoring Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
